Our image of the month comes from Falyn Garner, who says: “In a room full of high stakes and immediacy, a Whipple specimen blooming with life is one of many pieces lining the walls of the frozen room at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Created at the grossing station on absorbent pads with the use of surgical ink as a medium, this piece is a gentle reminder to take a step back in moments of chaos to appreciate the beauty in the art of pathology– even in the most unexpected places.”
Falyn Garner is Pathologists' Assistant, Moffitt Cancer Center.
